XP-3000 Vs. super reef 3000

Ok. who can tell me the difference between the reef octopus super reef XP-3000 and the super reef 3000. It seems they have the same bubble blaster pumps. But the prices are seperated by $150.00. :grumble:

Looking to purchase one of them for a 225 gallon reef tank.

Really thats it??? Is one a newer style? the xp-3000 has red writing on it and looks cleaner.

It seems that those are two of three different designs for that skimmer. Im not really sure which one is better though

I can't really say what the difference is. Either of them would be fine, I think.

The main difference is the body design. The XP is a cone and they are supposedly better because the bubbles have a smoother ride up to the collection cup.
