You really shouldn't ever change 100% of the water (unless your tank has been poisoned or something). After a cycle, you should change, at a maximum, 50%. In fact, a more reasonable number is 20%. Smaller, more frequent water changes are better than large water changes. Changing out too much water at once can shock your system, and can kill your animals if you have livestock in your tank.
 
I see. That make sense. So many different info in different places.

But since I'm only starting to cycle my LR, would changing more water helps?

It would perserve some of the hitch hikers on your rock,but it'll also prolong the cycle.
Kind of a catch 22.
