FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of meaty foods, vitamin enriched live or frozen brine shrimp, mysid shrimp, finely shaved/chopped table shrimp, frozen food for carnivores. Feed min.1 time a day in a reef, and in a tank without live substrate feed min. 2 times a day.
AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 8
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will nip small coral polyps with minor damage, otherwise, an excellent fish for the reef.
CAPTIVE CARE - Keep in a tank with live or faux corals of the branching type, will fight with members of its own kind, otherwise, usually not aggressive to other tankmates. Can be kept in small groups if enough coral heads are available, will spawn in captivity, keep with non aggressive tankmates.
