Yellow growth with "tendrils"

Hey guys, well, I now seem to be getting a yellow growth on my rocks that seem to have these tendrils that come right off of it. The growth is in patches on my liverock and I cant tell if my hermit crabs are eating the grownth or if they are eating around it. it looks like its a neon yellowish color. If anyone could please help me in identification i would be greatly appreciated.

The picture below is what it actually looks like to me while viewing it.

Ignore the bottom pic, as i cant make heads or tails of that pic. its supposedly the same shot blown up but i cant tell anything from it.

In the bottom pic it is all the yellow stuff. in the top pic it is right there on the ledge, right on the hole it looks like a small round patch of tendrils coming up out of it. And there IS a problem with it. It is taking over my live rock it seems. lol

Well you need to take a better picture if you want a better identification

And that stuff i mentioned will spread as long as you have "dirty water" which is common in new tanks. After a time the nutrients will settle and they will begin to die back.
