Yellow Sponge?

    My LFS told me this is a sponge but I just wanted to check with you all on this one also I noticed behind this sponge there is a weird thing almost reminds me of eggs and kind of the same color as the sponge is. Any ideas on what it is? There seems to be a lot of the yellow sponge things popping up all over the rock.

    Sponges are hard to keep long term due to inadequate food supply and too much light in our reef aquariums.

    Ah ok, Good to know that. I have my light on my tank for 10-11 hours then have my blue lights on for another hour then I go pitch black.
