Yellow Tang fin getting transparent

my yellow tang that i have had for 2 years has his dorsal fin getting transparent and slowly Deteriorating but is eating well and swims normal, all water pram are normal, what seems to be going on with him, i feed my fish Emerald entree frozen food and i do have some algea in the tank and a little hair algea he is always graizing on the rock . what gives?? and any remedy ?

Are you supplementing the tang's diet with seaweed? I'd be surprised if he is getting all the algae he needs from a 90 gallon tank, especially if there are other fish in the tank with him that are also eating it

i have before but i dont give it to them regularly, he wont get enough nutrients from the regular algea and hair algea that is in my tank?? there is not a lot of it but it is present, i guess i should start feeding the seaweed sheets regularly, how aften?

I would put at least half a sheet in there a day, more if you have other algae eaters
