Yellow tang ??? with pics

Is it normal for a new fish to pace back and forth along the glass, like it is looking for a way out? I just got the yellow tang yesterday along with the flame and the tang looks nervous while the angel seems to be ok. The angel has eaten already and swims the entire tank.

this is my QT setup a 20gal tall with an emperor 400 and heater, 3" pvc "y" for hiding places

Very normal. Is he breathing hard or anything? But either way, any move will be stressful to fish. If he's eating, and breathing fine, I don't see any reason to worry yet.

Yep, that's normal...he's trying to escape.

It's sounds fine thats generally why tangs need longer tanks becuase they are active swimmers. My tang swims the length of the tank often thens will swim circles in and around his cave then go back to swimming along the front glass.
