I've done one better...my basement bathroom is pretty much my tank's bathroom -- the bathtub is currently home to my rubbermaid tub that's curing my garf rock, and any toothbrush you find in there was likely used to scrub my skimmer and other tank equipment

yeah I am there myself I find myself helping the wife with her tank and then my tank every check. every check after bills and gas in the car the rest gos to something for the tank if not a future build. As for the sand bar in the shower mine is in the toilet hahaha. But when it comes to having a life yeah I made it day trips from here on out. I am one of those that also have constant dreams about my tank. I'm so longing for a real vacation. Our tanks are such beautiful balls and chains though:Cheers:

LOL I was just looking at DD myself last night, dreaming of the ones I want and adding them to the cart just to pretend what I'd order to get to the free shipping amount. Then I never pull the trigger. Somehow it's easier to buy them one by one for $30 each at my LFS (but they don't have the ones I really want) then to drop a few hundred at once. And now I'm thinking I'll wait until after I take a vacation to buy any more so I don't worry as much about how much money I'll lose if the power goes out if I'm not home

If you are talking about fish, it can also be risky to order a lot at once because your tank may not be able to handle all the new additions. I'd rather buy fish one by one and spend more than save some money, get 4 or 5 fish at once, only to have half of them croak when the parameters spike!

No, I'm just talking about corals. I have to add fish one by one because I am quarantining everything now, no more ich for me. My QT is 30 gallons so I will usually only get one except maybe a firefish pair. Also I'm hesitant about buying fish online, for some reason the corals seem more likely to survive 24 hours in shipping. But I haven't bought anything online yet.

Yes, but it is fun when you order a fish and then see what corals, inverts, etc. you can add to the order to get free shipping. I drool over the DD every day too!

I'm QTing fish and inverts separately, and only have one QT so they need to take turns. This way I have to restrain myself a little more. Plus, if I had three fish tanks my family would think I'm TOTALLY crazy! (more than they already do) And the thought of water testing 3 tanks, ugh.
