    When you call in to work and say "I cant make it today,got water problems" Because your return pump quit during the night. Happened last night.

    That sucks.

    ...you blow off your friends to keep an eye on a sick fish. The way you see it you will blow 20-50 bucks out with your friends but you could also lose a $50 fish. No go.

    When you get it on a regular or semi-regular basis, sex is not nearly as high a priority as when you are a hormone driven teen or young adult.

    ...when you go to the beach and notice a lot of algae in the water and you wonder why no one has bothered to do a water change or run phosphate removers.

    I've got four up here ... I know too well what you mean, which is why the tank will *always* be second. I can always take care of the tank when the kids are awake. With two of mine being teens, it makes it awful tough to have mom and dad time if they are awake.

    That's par for the course if you happen to be a female ;) There are a few things in a relationship that women can control to use/manipulate to their advantage. Sex probably being the biggest one.
