your aquarium is bigger than your TV
you have tanks sitting on cinder blocks in your front yard
you have more invested into your tank than you do your car

We need to come up with a lot more of these. I am sure someone can do better than me.

When you get hungry you put your fishing rod in your tank.

When you plan on converting your dining room into the "Reef Room" with a 240g 7' centerpiece, with a 110 and 3g picotope along the walls.

When your walls are warped and coated with salt creep and you like it.

When you plan on ripping up all your downstairs carpet and replacing with tile solely to better accomodate your tanks.

...when your tank is more than just a hobby and you see it more as a place to prey and worship in front of.

When you end up paying $12 a pound for rock and then tell non-reefers that it was such a fantastic deal, this rock is just beautiful.

Whatever, they're human. They have legs, and they can run. They can damn well take care of themselves! They are not helpless little fishies trapped in a glass box!

You know you're a reefhead when you walk into an LFS and they know you, but you haven't been there before.

You know you're a reefhead when people you have just met assume that you like to eat seafood.

You know you're a reefhead when any conversation which involves a fish of any kind, also involves the phrase "well you should know..."

You know you're a reefhead when you're secretly hiding a 75g tank in the basement, so your girlfriend doesn't find out your plans for a new tank.... :regular_w (and this isn't the first time....)

When you wife goes looking for a lost pair of pantyhose and the first place she looks is in your sump.

When you check on the tank 20+ times before leaving for vacation, but leave the coffee pot plugged up.

Haha! Good one Yote! NDB does this all the time. It drives me INSANE. One time I had to leave work and drive home (20 miles round trip) because he thought he forgot the coffee pot on, and I am way to paranoid to wait until I get off of work to check on it.

He leaves the iron on too. BAD considering we have 5 cats and 2 dogs that like to check everything out! I nearly killed him the one time he left the iron on all day.
