zoas break off?

sometimes ill see one zoa floating around the sand bed?... it has the tube attached to it.. its not just the head and skirt... any ideas?

i have one ocellaris clown.. five snails and one red hermit crab

snails wouldent pull them off and i dont think hermit would. dose your clown host in your zoas? he might get a lil ruff and pull them off all i can think of. as long as your zoas look good i wouldent worry about one coming off from time to time.

Some times they release if they dont like the spot they are in. If you catch it and glue it onto a piece of rubble, then you can start a whole new colony.

my clown hosts a bta.. they are in love but ya i could always do that.. i just need to get the right glue

Super glue Gel, works. Use a lot of it, Zoas can be pretty slimey :D

Also, wear gloves and safety glasses, the Zoas can make you sick if their juices get in a cut or eye. They have a very strong toxin.
