Nano, would be that, it is a nano, sized down from a reef tank.
As in 10 gallon tanks and below are generally considered "Nano Reefs"
A reef, would be 10 gallons and up.

I've always considered anything 30 gallons or smaller to be a nano tank.

I'd consider 30 to 10 to be nano and under 10 pico. But thats just me...everyone will have different thoughts as to whats a nano.
