oiy... well, a leak is a leak. if you find it, it be a simple solution of something like some plumbers tape or non-chem fix. u mentioned that water is leaking from one chamber to the next, i highly doubt there'd be any appreciable change to your water chemistry. Feel free to keep us up to date!

Can u describe your sump and the leak?

I just got (about a month ago) a Bubble Magus 5.5 for my 75g tank and it rocks. Its the model that sits on top of the pump so my sump has to have 9"-10" inches of water. I found a coupon at Petmountain and was happy to pay that then buy at a local shop (thieves here in den LOL)

Hi Erin - hey were almost neighbors :) The new skimmer is sitting in the bottom of my wet/dry filter box. My old skimmers were hang in back. Of course this means ive had to bump up the water level in my filter box which now doubles as a sump. I'm brainstorm how to plumb in another small box...

I can't offer any advice on an eel - but omgosh if its an eel-like fish try an engineer goby. We have a couple that grew from 2" to 12" --- active in the evening and beautiful.
