well looks like my camera is not working at the moment it will not upload for some reason but it has been 1 week tomorrow and it has a little bit of growth when looked far away just seems darker then you get close and it has green algae slow growth but it is growing now and i thought there was supposed to be brown growth im getting all green???guessing thats good??

Green is good. Make sure you clean it tomorrow regardless of how much growth is on it!

If you can clean both sides with still have a bit algae left, go ahead and clean both sides. RO water would probably be better to use, but it often isn't too practical. I use a metal scraper to manually scrape off the algae (both sides), then I rinse the entire thing in water to kill the pods that are on there.

Ya but first week isn't much on there no need for scraper
