Bubbletip anemone and water change

Reefing newb
Hi there
My Bubbletip anemone has moved to just under the surface of the water. He's been there for a few days and seems to like his new place
However, I want to do a 25% water change at the weekend and this will leave him above the water level for a few minutes (unless he will slowly move down the tank as I drain out the water)...
Do I need to move him lower down in the tank, or will he actually move himself to keep himself submerged?

It wont hurt him to do the water change.
I've done a bunch of waterchanges on the anemone tank at my LFS and left nems hanging on the glass. They'll usually just close up for an hour or so,then be right back out.

If your worried about it being out of the water too long you can cover it with a wet (tank water) paper towel. That will keep it nice and moist during the water change, but probably isn't necessary unless you take too long with a water change.
