Ok so just not finished the algae scrubber everything went pretty smooth pretty easy i did it in my wet dry system where the bio balls were. the measures are 8" wide by 12" deep that way it was in the water so no splash sounds. i have 2 aluminum reflecters round about 7" around with 75 watt philips mini twister. i have a power strip with the lights running 18/4 schedule so 4 hours of them off which should be fine and i think that pretty much covers it and the slit is 4mm in the pvc

and i cant hear one sound from it and i beilve my overflow is 240gph i think when i did the test it took 15 or 30 seconds to fill a gallon jug so i have done the research thanks to everyone on here especially SantaMonica...so what does everyone think let me know
