fish not eating

OK ive had my mimic saddle puffer for about 5 days now and he has not been eating.
all my fish chow down on mysis shrimp and i checked like aquaria and it says that he is an omnivore and should be eating them.

i also have dried seaweed in there for the angel fish would he be eating that?

what else should i be trying? and where can i get it :P

also the dart fish is eating but hardly since he hides in his little home and doesnt know when i put in food until most of it is gone

Have you tried to feed anything else besides mysid?

I would try some of the other foods you should be feeding. Remember, variety is the key to good nutrition

How big is the fish? Maybe try some larger pieces of food like krill, squid or raw shrimp.

and he's not very big. probably about an inch and a half

mysid, table shrimp, clams, scallops, squid, blood worms, and you can also go to petco/petsmart to get some great frozen food mixes

You can find table shrimp, clams, scallops and squid at your grocery store. :) Just buy raw, unseasoned seafood, and chop it up or put it in the food processor for a few pulses.

Try live food, like brine shrimp enhanced with Selcon.

My fish really like the frozen variety cubes I got them at petco in the freezer. They contain everything from meat to veggies so something for everyone.
