hob refugium

im starting a 10 gallon nano tank.. I want a good filtration system and i dont want a hang on filter like the bio wheel.. My question is what are the benefits of a hob refugium?? and would that be enough for a 10 gallon reef tank??:shock:

i used an aquaclear 110 with a aquaclear 20 impeller for a fuge on my 10 gallon

Save your money, there's no reason to run one on a tank that small. 10-20 pounds if live rock and 1-2 gallon weekly water changes will keep your water more then clean.

What about a protein skimmer?? im planning to have corals someday

Like I said, in anything smaller then a 30g weekly water changes are enough for it.
