FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of meaty foods, chopped shrimp, squid, clams, enriched krill, fish, preparations for herbivores, Feed min. 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Not recommended, eats sessile invertebrates and coralline algae.
CAPTIVE CARE - Advanced aquarist status recommended to keep one of these, deworm and file teeth down as needed to prevent overgrowth, keep singly, not aggressive towards other fishes. Provide a large cave or overhang for shelter, will destroy hard coral skeletons, faux corals, and aquarium equipment. Needs plenty of room, shy at first, but will come out more as acclimated. Not for the beginner.
