I'd start with Smitty's recommendations and probably position them fairly high.

Ok what montys and birdsnests do you guys like?

I would just get a couple $20-30 plugs and see how it goes. first off, pick something that looks real healthy. second, choose something that has been sitting under similar, low lights, lower in the tank, etc. if possible. I'm a big fan of bright green birdnest. I like pocillapora and simililar species because they are fast growing. However, they can also be fast dying. The nice things is that they are typically lots of smaller branches so if one of your branches start to bleach you just cut it off. If it bleaches from the base you have to re-frag it.

also, I haven't messed around with monty's too much but from what I've read you'd probably have your best chance at success with one of them.
