Im adding 2 new chambers to my sump..right now the glue is drying...my question is if my power heads are on..and moving the water..will my fish be ok

+1 trust me... you will be better off to take care of it now than after its up and runningsuper glue will not hold acrylic together. you need to use[ weld on] when workin with acrylic.silicone won't hold either
wow im glad i found this thread i am building my sump out of an old 55 gal tank. will the 'weld on' work for acryllic and glass? has anyone purchased it online that could throw up a link?

silicone will work for glass to acrylic though you are still better with epoxy. just remember, silicone is not a glue meaning it doesn't have binding strength, it is simply a sealantAre you putting up acrylic for baffles? I used just silicone. He (I think) was trying to attach two sumps together.
