Bit late on this but I had a six line wrasse before cause my only other fish was a yellow tail damsel and the wrasse showed the damsel who was boss by taking a couple snips of his tail, but the damsel is got happy once again and the wrasse chilled in his cave most of the time when I had him.

Ugh. I am reading to much.So by just transfering about 8 gallons of the old water and my current rock into the new tank I "should" be good moving my brittle star right away? Cause I fear there will not be enough bacteria in the new tank by adding new sand and having the new glass.

Eeek. I forgot the most important part. So while I still currently just have my brittle star at the time being. If I plan to use the same filter on my new 20 gallon as I am currently using on my 10, how do I cycle the new tank while keeping the brittle star happy?

My starfish is still moving around normally but won't eat when I try to feed him and is still dissolving is there anything I can do other than water changes to help him.

Don't worry I kept my damsel. I just wanted to get more fish and just got starfishes lol

Usually about twice a week with table shrimp. But it has been about 9 months with no reef lightning and has done great.
