Just got a bio-cube for 150 from a guy on craigs list WOOT. I allready moved everything over from my 10 gallon which I stoped updating months ago. I'll post pictures soon. :bounce:
Does anyone know if peps kill zoas? my pep keeps stabbing at my zoas and I was wondering if hes just picking the garbage in the nooks and crannys or if hes hurting the zoa.
Ok I bought this skimmer here
Odyssea Protein Skimmer
I Got it hooked up now for it's first day, and its a little noisy. It's not the pump that is noisy but when you open the air valve it makes alot of gurgling noise. My question is when it breaks in will it quiet down a bit, or is there good...
I got a 10 to guy. After only 6 months my one clown seems to feed pretty good on pods. I still feed him as I was given some advice to do so, but I think it would be pretty easy to do.
ahh I did not know this. You think it's just as bad as when you dont rinse your frozen off before you feed? I never rinse the frozen and I notice quite a bit of matter flying though my tank.
Why would dried cause more phosphates? I can control the proportion sizes alot better, when I feed frozen majority of it just gets stuck in my cheatomorpha.
oh tank is six months old. The fish is a ocellaris clown and I got him when the tank stoped it cycle after the first month. I got frozen, and freeze dried mysis. I just give him a SUPER small pinch of the freeze dried every couple days. Like I said im trying to keep my phosphates down.
My clown fish is about 5-6 months now and hes getting good at eating pods, worms, and what ever is flying through my tank. Do I even need to feed him? I got some bad hair algea right now and it would be helpfull if I didn't have too.
Jezz deffinitly taking the clown back he won't even eat and is at the bottom of the tank. I hardley have any algea in the tank. It's been doing great up to this point
