    No you need to feed the little guy. It is an animal not a plant. A small piece of silverside once a week should keep him happy. Sometimes when they split the look sick for a while, maybe the case maybe not you never know.

    If you have too much flow try the sure flow black props with a MJ900 it is 1600gph and seems to do really well in my 55g the black is not supposed to be used with the 1200 that is why the HUGE noise you have.

    one 6in clip on fan worked for me i was getting as high as 83 and one 6in fan never lets it get above 80.00 10 hours of light on a 55g 250wMH

    I had the same tank and i have the same as mentioned earlier the sundial 30" with 4x24 and have kept softies pm me for a price so you can buy corals insted of lights :mrgreen:

    yes it is a bulk head into a 90 then into the sump. The water flowing in to the overflow is not very loud. It is the water crashing into the sump. i have the tube competley under water.
