I have a 240 gallon tank - fish has been together for about 3 years - a lionfish, 2 puffers, wrasp, chameleon parrotfish (ID not confirmed) - a white / clear type of secretion has appeared in the tank -I initially thought it was coming from lionfish but could not be sure....however, I was told...

It is actually a ceramic piece made by a company -ATM here in Vegas - I cannot have many anenome / corrals due to the large puffer that I have. ATM has a website (ATM stands for acrylic tank manufactors) look them up!

Thank You...I'll look and see if he in fact, does what you have said...I am not sure that he is a parrotfish...one person identified him as such and sent a pic . Do you know of any websites that may be of assistance in identifying this fish? :roll:

I bought a complete set up from a local Las Vegas casino - a person identified the one "mystery fish" I had bought as a Chameleon Parrotfish - I was wondering if anyone has a ballpark figure on its worth -it is about 9-10" long - I've searched several online sites that sell fish but nobody lists...

Hopefully the pic uploaded...but if it did... this fish changes color to whatever it is next to..from white to black to yellow...etc.. I can't find him in any of my books...but I own him... the now darker fish in the pic...

Thank You! one more question..... I have 1 large "puffer" and one medium one and want to know if "puffers" are a threat to reef tanks. I just want to know if it is best toi sell the puffers...I heard they eat corals and live rock etc...

I sold my 100 gallon reef / fish tank about 6 years ago and just purchased a long established 240 gallon fish only tank from a local casino here in Vegas.... the lighting system is not up to standards - cheap set up - I wish to begin the long process of building a reef... what is a good...
