I bought a complete set up from a local Las Vegas casino - a person identified the one "mystery fish" I had bought as a Chameleon Parrotfish - I was wondering if anyone has a ballpark figure on its worth -it is about 9-10" long - I've searched several online sites that sell fish but nobody lists these fish....I want to sell him but need a ballpark figure on his value.
    Thanks...

if it is a parrot fish, you can tell as it will build a cocoon at night around itself by secreting out a clear mucus around itself. do look to see what it does when it goes to sleep. if it is not in a mucus cocoon you probably do not have a parrot fish.

Thank You...I'll look and see if he in fact, does what you have said...I am not sure that he is a parrotfish...one person identified him as such and sent a pic . Do you know of any websites that may be of assistance in identifying this fish?

It is actually a ceramic piece made by a company -ATM here in Vegas - I cannot have many anenome / corrals due to the large puffer that I have.
ATM has a website (ATM stands for acrylic tank manufactors) look them up!

    Thanks

I was just curious because I am researching a specimen which looks like what I see in that picture and no one can identify it yet. I have to get some pictures posted and go from there.
