    Quick question. My tank is a 45g but is exactly 36in wide. If I'm aiming for 5 wpg, can I find fixtures like that? I checked Nova Extreme Pro because I really like their reviews, but they make a 20" which would give me 2 and some wpg, but their next size up is a 36" which would give me 5.2...

    While I'm at it, I have another quick question (sorry). What's the difference between cured and "uncured" live rock? Also, with live rock and live sand no fish are necessary for the cycle right? After the cycle's done then you can add fish? Or is it still advised to get damsels or another...

    OK, thank you. Next, can anyone recommend me good lighting? Will I have to build a custom hood to fit everything under or can I find hoods and bulbs online or at the LFS to give me approx. 5 watts/gallon? Any suggestions on specific equipment?
