He gave me bad info and things didn't work, so bought a couple of books off Amazon (those can be shipped to China) and read up, so now when they give advice I ignore it. Like when they tell me...

Haha, first off, I'm not Asian :) Secondly, not many = 2x Foxface Lo's, 2x Spotted Cardinal Fish, 1x Bicolour Dottyback, 2x Blue Mandarin Fish, and 1x Orange Spotted Goby. Clean Up Crew = 4x banded shrimp (small ones), and 3 Sea Cucumbers (also small).

I have a few fish in the tank, not many. As per your advice I will slowly take out the bioballs and see what happens with the tank. Anxious to get this thing right! I will give an update soon!:helm2:

Wow! Thanks for the link. Watched it and got depressed though... they definitely don't have a system like that in Beijing. The Beijing one has two elements and the hoses have to be plugged in to all sorts. They also require a constant power supply which doesn't seem the case with the video here...

@bjohanson Unfortunately no, the only supply is Beijing tap water. All the fish stores around use the tap water and their systems seem perfect. Crystal clear and abundant life... I have suspicions though because they say they never test the water, and I think that given the short time most...
