Here is an update on my tank guys, im 2 months into the game now. Next items up, a protein skimmer, and some more coral. So far I only have the mushrooms you see at the bottom left which are doing great. Edit: blue cleaner wrasse sadly vanished, however I have two healthy ocellaris.

Is there any advantage to having a pair of clownfish as opposed to having one? Petco has a sale on clownfish tomorrow for 12.99 the true percula. I always see people get pairs so im trying to see if I should get two cheap perculas or one.

I do plan on getting a protein skimmer soon. However in the mean time I placed the bio-chem Zorb pads in my filter and it seems to be clearing the water up fast!. I think i just needed to change to a different filter media other than the default one which has barely any carbon.

I have about 25 ponds of live rock and just added two more pounds recently. I have no slimmer. My marinelans filter is the one for 70 gallons. Ph is 8.0 ammonia is 0 nitrite is 0 and nitrates seem slightly above 0, like 1 ppm. Its definitely not 5ppm as the test tube didn't get tha dark orange...

thanks a lot. Im feeding instant ocean marine blend the little packets that you squeeze the stuff out. they seem to like it. I don't have a protein skimmer, is it about time to get a clean up crew or what?
