im in the process of grounding my fish tank too due to stray voltage and was also wondering where to get the probes from. also, can stray voltage cause high nitrates?
My 225gal saltwater tank is shocking me when I put my hand in it. I'm having some nitrate problems right now. There at 40ppm. They were at 160ppm. I had three small heaters in my sump and I thought they were the problem but when I took them out it still shocked me. My fish are all still living...
I'm using Tap water in my water changes and I honestly have no idea where the high nitrates came from. It's like they happened overnight. And I'm feeding twice a day.
I have more than that I don't know an exact number that's not my issue. And my Molly has been in my saltwater tank for a year and is doing better in this tank then he was in my freshwater tank.
