Here is my simple overflow idea. I thought about using a 3" ABS cap and cutting it in half and then cutting some notches in it and attaching it to the back of my tank wall. I will use two drains, one on each end of the tank. I have 2 1" bulkheads that would fit very nicely inside the half cap...

I did some online research and found that ABS is non toxic, so maybe my idea will work. I will try it out, and post my results. Has anyone ever used ABS in their tanks?

Thanks for the reply. I was talikg to Jeff today as a matter of fact and should have my overflow box in a few days. I put this post up and then started doing some intensive internet research and came across the lifereef website and was very impressed. They have got some really nice stuff.
