    Help with FrogSpawn

Have not made any height changes to the LED's since they were purchased and do not plan to as they are mounted to the wall. Only new additon has been the frag of Zoe. The Duncan, Zoe and Frogspawn are spaced far apart from each other. We have a six line wrasse, watchman goby and the clown. I...

    Help with FrogSpawn

Ok - just tested again. Calcium is at 380 (little low) and KH is at 214 (little high). No nitrates, PH and ammonia are perfect. Do not have a magnesium test, but will be getting one this afternoon. Also plan to do a water change to see if that helps. Any suggestions?

    Help with FrogSpawn

I just checked my calcium a few days ago and it was at 400 and I added a small amount of calcification. I switched from a T5 light to the Panorama Marine LED's (on a timer so lights are not on all day). When I purchased the frogspawn from my LFS, he was under LED's and a few days after is when I...

    Help with FrogSpawn

Can someone please provide me some advise regarding my frogspawn. I've had this guy for over 2 months and he's been great except for the past few days. He has not eaten nor expanded. I have not changed anything except for purchasing LED's about a month ago. My water parameters are perfect and...

Aiptasia or some other type of tube worm??

The tube inside the rock is white, but it's tentacles are clear and purplish. It retracts slightly when I tap on the glass or sometimes when I put a flashlight on it. Cooky little thing.

Aiptasia or some other type of tube worm??

Yes, the clear thingy to the right. It has purple tentacles. I was hoping it was something else since I have not seen any photos of baby aiptasia with purple tentacles. I guess I will have to wait until it's big enough for the treatment. ARRRGGG!! :death:

Aiptasia or some other type of tube worm??

Hi All, I have a very small tube type of worm on a piece of my live rock (tank over 1 month old). Any thoughts if this is in fact aiptasia or something else? I did purchase some aiptasia-x incase I have any issues. If it is aiptasia, this guy seems too small for the treatment/syringe...

New (1 month) 10 Gallon Wall Mount

Thank you!! No powerhead, just two filters with an output of 450 liters/hour for each. I've been told several times that this is plenty of water flow and filtration for the tank.

New (1 month) 10 Gallon Wall Mount

:D No, it was not custom built. I purchased it from an online store and I have listed the link below. The dimensions are for the entire size of the mount which includes the border/framing. The tank size is 10.5 gallons. Extra Large Panoramic Wall Aquarium

New (1 month) 10 Gallon Wall Mount

Thank you for all your feedback and suggestions!! I'll start with the temp first - Prior to the ich situation, I kept my tank around 78-80. However, since I've been treating the tank with ich attack, I have slowly raised the temp to 82-84. I have been treating for almost 2 weeks now and plan...

New (1 month) 10 Gallon Wall Mount

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. And yes, the tank looks deceiving!! The dimensions are 17.5h x 69.5w x 5d which includes the decorative frame. The tank itself holds 10.5 gallons. I was questioning whether or not to purchase another clown. I know clowns can be happy either...

New (1 month) 10 Gallon Wall Mount

Anyone have thoughts regarding my live rock placement choice? Too much and/or not ideal placement for happy fish swimming??

New (1 month) 10 Gallon Wall Mount

Yes, I know. However, with my tank only 10 gallons, I am not looking at doing a QT tank at this point. I am hoping to see this tank though, but if no success...I can always switch to freshwater. I am looking for thoughts on my live rock choice and placement. Thanks!
