I removed one of the LR that had some questionable things growing on and it last night and this morning I found this little guy nestled on top of where the removed LR was. Is it an Ark clam? It certainly has those lines running along it..but I don't know much about clams. Any info guys?

My aiptasia is gone! I haven't see it all day yesterday and one of the peppermint shrimps have already molted (dunno about the other one--seems to be MIA). And the mini patch of aiptasia that I saw before turned out to be feather dusters. So far, the peppermints aren't bothering them :) In...

Oh it does look a lot like what I have! Mine are so tiny it's really hard to get a good distinct ID on them. The aiptasias that I've seen have usually have a stem/trunk and I don't see it on mine.... So far the peppermints aren't doing anything to them..probably still acclimating to their new...

Ahh..I see. But good rule of thumb, to keep it about 3 inches away from other corals? For some reason the only other thing coming out of the LR are my pulsing xenias..which happen to surround either side of this cabbage leather.

Ok..have you had any problems with the 'emitting of toxins" as it grows to surrounding corals?

Got this growing rather quickly on one of the LR I got a few days ago.. It started as a small plump button and it's thinned out some as it grew over the few days. Is this a cabbage leather coral or some other type of coral, if leather? If it is indeed a cabbage leather coral, I read sometimes...
