Thanks for everyone's replies. I'm back at the correct salinity and sg. Thankfully all my CUC made it thru the transition.

    Freaking LFS - Lesson Learned

So I decided to take matters in my own hands and get rid of a few aiptasias growing from my live rock. I rushed to the LFS to get some Aiptasia-X to get rid of the little boogers. It was close to closing time, nonetheless, they were open when I had arrived. While waiting to check out, I...

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

Yeah.. I know shrimp are more sensitive, that's why I didn't get him yesterday. I'll look into Aiptasia X. Are there any species of snails, crabs, and shrimp you'd advise to stay away from? I know not to get the large red hermit crab. Thanks again!

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

Would you recommend that I get two different velocity of powerheads? I was thinking about getting one of each: Sicce - Voyager 1 (adjustable 265 - 607 gph) and Voyager 2 (800gph). Does this sound good?

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

I'm starting to get a bad case of the "Jones" to get some fish. I must maintain my diligence in remaining patient. That's the difficult part! I think my tank should complete it's cycle by next weekend - keeping my fingers crossed. Must admit that I cheated and bought 2 little electric blue...

    Suggestions for stocking 120

Not to be second guessing you here (You should add in order of the most aggressive to the least aggressive) but I've heard the exact opposite. Please advise, thanks!

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

I plan on getting a dwarf angelfish so thanks for the tip. It'll probably be one of the last fish I add once the aquarium has been established. I do like the flame angel as well as the coral beauty. The difficult part is going to be choosing between the two. The couple of flames I've seen out...

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

Thanks for your input. I appreciate your time in listing the various fish that can survive in my aquarium, that was very kind of you.

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

Lots of options? It's appears quite the opposite with at least the fish I was interested in. Are you saying the clown fish is the only fish that would do well with my setup out of all the fish from my list? I thought a 58g tank was okay but now I'm learning that most of the species I wanted...

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

Thanks for everyone's response. Does anyone have any input to the power head size(s) I should go with for my system?

Good to know. Perhaps I add him after the tank is more established. Thank you!

FOWLR missing the FO - Planning for tank mates

Thanks for the insight. Would it be possible if I purchased a very small sized emperor or sailfin and transfer them to a larger tank in time or do they need the space to swim even while they're really small? Do you know if an Emperor and Flametail can coexist in a larger tank?
