Is anyone in Central PA interested in a pair of mated Ocellaris Clownfish? I'd trade them for other fish or sell them. I just don't want to have to deal with shipping them.

I am now in need of a ballast for my 250 watt metal halide :grumble:. As Current does not sell replacements and I've been unable to find one on the internet, has anyone had to replace theirs? Any advice on brand, model or where best to buy??? My unit is a Current Outer Orbit.

That's with the tenticals out. The one may have been the size of a quarter.

They are actually very small. I'd say they where about the size of a dime.

Tonight I shut down all my pumps for the tank, so I could treat the aiptacia. When I plugged back in the pumps in the sump, neither of them would work!! Not sure of the difference between bonded or mated, but they have been laying eggs for a couple of years. The $145 is closer to what I've been told.

All - I was wondering if someone could tell me what a mated pair of Ocellaris Clownfish are worth. I have a pair and am thinking of selling them. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've never had to direct feed mine. It seems to always sense when I'm feeding and put out its tentacles when it feels like :D

Biff - I knew you wouldn't let me down!!! That is exactly what I was expecting! To make it even better, I sold the first cockrock I had! I put another rock there and let them cover that one as well :-)

It started with a rock the size of a baseball and went from there. They started popping up on the other side of the tank, which I have no idea how that happened. I'd guess it's been about 3yrs now, since I bought them.

I know the comments I'm going to see on this pic, but it shows how much of them are on the back wall and spreading. Of course it also shows my sudden aiptasia outbrake as well :frustrat:

If anyone lives close enough, I'll make them a great deal on zoas, mushrooms or blue milepora. I'm out of room!

My wrasse is both a wimp and a bully. When anyone approaches the tank, he hides behind the rocks. When no one is around the tank, he drives my purple tang nuts. My tang now has no dorsal fin left and part of his yellow tail. I never thought of the maganet idea!! Thanks!!
