I want to keep some leather corals and I am afraid that the lighting they will need is to much for the seahorse. If I give the seahorse some cover from the light, how would they be able to hitch on to the leather coral if the corals need to be in the light? I have a 55 gallon tank.

I have a 20-high tank and I would like to put sea horses in it. What are the recommended equipment/substrate for it? Also what exactly do I feed sea horses? I'm new to the salt water, but my boyfriend has a 37 gallon FOWLR tank.
