    What ARE these?!

Yea I have them too. Didn't know what they were either. LOL I have heard that they very rarely hatch.

    Odd Clown Behavior

I've had them for about 3 weeks now. When I got them the lighter colored one was slightly bigger, now the darker one is actually the slightly larger one. I have a feeling the darker one will end up becoming the female. I've been waiting to name them until they determine which one is going to...

    Odd Clown Behavior

Actually they are all over the tank. They don't normally stay in only one place. So right now I don't think they are trying to get anything to host them.

    Bad Tank Mommy :(

Don't feel bad Karen, I noticed the same stuff on my tonga rock this morning. I just moved the PHs to blow in that area. Luckily I have a couple of nerites that will actually eat the stuff. I know which ones they are and just moved them over to the area...its almost gone this evening.

    Odd Clown Behavior

LOL Waddi. They just don't normally behave this way is all. Since the tank crash I'm a little paranoid by anything odd in my babies behavior.

    Odd Clown Behavior

They just don't normally behave in this manner, but if you think its just the normal odd clown behavior I won't worry about it.

And it begins...JBJ Nano Cube 28 gallon LED

Thanks Erin. Right now that is all I'm going to add. I'm going to wait for another couple of weeks before I even think of adding anything. I'm getting the RO water together today so I can have my salt mixing tonight and tomorrow do a water change.

    What are these?

If they actually hatch I may be looking to get rid of a few. :) I have just enough nerites now. I really wasn't planning on getting more.
  12. rdahlke1105

    What are these?

I really have no idea if that is what they actually are or not. I have them on other rocks as well. Dang snails have been having snail orgies again. *sigh* I have more dwarf cerths that what I started with. :grumble:
  13. rdahlke1105

    What are these?

No they don't look like q-tips or pineapple. I've had those before. These are flat. Someone over on nano reefs thinks they might be nerite snail egg sacks.
  14. rdahlke1105

    What are these?

Nope. Don't move at all. I don't think they are flatworms or anything like that. I've seen those.
  15. rdahlke1105

    What are these?

I have these on a couple of my rocks. I have no clue what they are. I'm guessing maybe sponges? Strangest thing is they are completely white.

And it begins...JBJ Nano Cube 28 gallon LED

I did lose Herman my cleaner shrimp, I will eventually get another one, but right now I don't want to add anything. I'm not planning on adding anything else for about 3 weeks or more. Except a couple of macros and some chaeto for the fuge in the back.

And it begins...JBJ Nano Cube 28 gallon LED

I don't know what happened really. But I pulled everyone out and put them in a hospital tank until I could get the tank rebuilt. So far everything is ok. I'm still pulling out some dwarf cerths out of the hospital tank, but everything else is doing ok. Though I did lose my hammer and torch to...

And it begins...JBJ Nano Cube 28 gallon LED

Well after a major tank crash, I moved all inhabitants over to a 10 gallon tank, broke the DT down and restarted it. I held all of the rock in a bucket with tank water, took out all of the water and sand and replaced. I got to the point where I was hating the black sand that I had in there...
