    hahaha indeed. Im looking for info and it isn't something you see often, and in some cases the bristle and the pistol share the place with a hermit and a goby O_O

    I have a 30g long display refugium which has a lot of work ahead and I noticed that a pistol shrimp has established a symbiosis with a bristle worm, and they actually help each other. The bristle worm grabs the food that is laying around and takes it inside the cave to share it with the pistol...

    may be some kind of diatoms or other algae. The bubbles are possibly Nitrogen or Oxygen trapped inside the filaments of the algae.

    Slug????

    Is a chiton, you can tell by the segmented shell, the second picture shows it a bit clearer. The are very good critters and great algae eaters. HINT: Dont try to pull it off the rock, they attach to rough surfaces very strongly. Doing it may kill the little guy.

    Could be a gorgonian, +1 little fish, it also could a red algae (rhodophyta) such as Hyphnea or Chondria.

    Ruby emerald crab?

    I can see the crab in the picture, is on the left. The claws are a little thiner than the ones the emerald crab have. If I where you, I'll take it out of the tank because the claws are also a bit longer and that means it can hunt. So, keep an eye or 2 on him.

    O_O sorry guys!!! This is the link: UP Aqua UA-F17 6.69 Inch Flexible LED CFL? as in fluorescent lighting? I have a 36'' long fluorescent light fixture with 2 40W bulbs....do you think thats enough light for macro algae to thrive??
