Not that I notice, I have a lot of chromis that are appearing out of no where some are fairly small... It's a possibility, but now that you mention it, I haven't seen my fire fish today... that I can remember.

Yeah I made sure to see all of them eat, that's why I chose him because he was the one to go after the silversides first and was the most active. I've tried wiggling it too... last night I turned the reef lights off but he still didn't come near me, I got him interested in it but he come out.

So its almost a week that I have the lion and he hasn't eaten, he won't come near me when I try. I did some research about their eating habits, they like to eat during dawn/dusk hours, and that they are most active, until he gets use to my lighting schedule after a few months then he will be out...

I'll probably stop after I get two more tangs... The lion seems to be warming up, I tried feeding him yesterday, the eel ate just fine but every time I tried to get close to the lion he backed away and hid. I'll give it a few more days. I've been thinking about the triggers and the ideas...

I'll take pictures tonight and post them up... I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to the back of those tanks.

Yeah I knew they weren't really active fish, I just love how beautiful and different they look. In my research I read that they like caves, so I made sure there were a few for him when I did my rock work. But like I said my main concern was the water flow in the tank, in stores I see lions just...

They don't share the same sump. The reef tank has a 90g sump and the 220g has a 50g sump. Your first idea sounds to be about right in what I have to do.

So I got my volitan lion fish... everything went smooth for acclimation.. but he's just hanging out in the back, and I'm not sure if my water flow is too high for him, the tank use to be set for an Achilles tang.. I'm not sure if that makes a difference though.. any ideas?

I'm not sure all I know is that they run off the same skimmer.

Today I'm taking the 2 foot bumble bee grouper I have in a 220g tank to an aquarium, problem is my 350g and the 220g are both hooked up together... How should I go about cutting off the water flow from the two tanks... should I turn the valves off? First being I have to shut down the tanks all...

She's really small too, half the size of the scopas and convict. The convict if fine. But I notice my butterfly fish going after her too. Just turned the lights off.

She's pretty but she's only been in the tank less then a half hour and my scopas tang is taking chunks out of her. What can I do?

So came home with a sailfin tang tonight :D Wasn't going to get one but this one was too pretty not to get. The eel is doing great too, and hopefully within the next week my lion will be in the tank. So far I've been acclimating the tang for almost an hour now.. how much longer should I wait...

Math??? I'm not sure what that means.

I'm not sure yet, I'll have to think of a good one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on getting my lion soon!

Thank you!! The tank has had a huge change to it but I love what I've done. The Eel is awesome I can't stop watching him. So active, he comes out in open space and glides along the glass.
