Yes the evaporated water is replaced with ro water. I'm talking about the water that gets taken out from the skimmer cup.

Thanks. I put a skimmer on my sons biocube hqi and it's working awesome but it needs water in about a week. Some evap and some just skimmed out. Don't feel like making water all the time

Thanks. I have both issues. I noticed that the filter in the middle of the hqi gets clogged with in 2 weeks which changes the entire flow of the system. Water does not seem to be able to pass fast enough so I move the filter slightly to give it a little gap for flow. Anyone else have this...

I have a biocube 29 gal hqi. The skimmer it came with is worthless. I saw the CPR 3 skimmer but someone told me it will only work on reg bio not the hqi. Does anyone have info on this or maybe a suggestion on a good skimmer for it.

Yes. They cruise the whole tank. Especially now since I added the helfrich. You see the other ones all the time. It's cool to see something different

I ended up getting 5 green cromis which are schooling in my tank. They look pretty cool. Just waiting for them to work their way to the front. Decided on no school for 29 and ended up finding a great looking helfrich's goby for his for 50 bucs. Pricey but a good deal. Thanks for the advice
