One toadstool turns into two toadstools

It looks to me that this toadstool has a little baby. Maybe Im crazy but it looks like a tiny one is sprouting next to the big one. Is there a proper way to remove the little one so I can put it in a different tank without harming it? The big one has fused itself to the big rock so I dont really want to rip them both out. Any suggestions? Here are some pics of them

Nice sharp razor blade. Then lightly fasten it to a small rock with a rubber band to let it attach.

I got a lavenderish colored toadstool from LA. When I first put it in my tank it was blomming your yours. Now tht Ive glued it in the top is just smooth and round it won't bloom. I'll send a pic. Wonder why its doing that?

Anyway your toaldstool is totally cool looking.

That is normal behavior for leathers. every now and then they shed a layer of skin

This is my toadstool I was talking about earlier.. It opened nicley when I first put it in the tank. Is looked like this for the past few days.What do they look like when they die?

its just shedding a layer, it will be fine, just give it time
