what causes the green hair algae? I have it on my rock at bottom of tank under all other rock. I don't want to take all other rock out to get to the rock at the bottom. More frequent water changes? Less light? a better protein skimmer? what causes it?

How often are sumps supposed to be cleaned & the proper way to do it?

How long does it take to do a water change on a 190 to 250 g tank? What is your proceedures? On my little 60 gal I just siphon 7g out w/a thick tube and slowly pour my prepared water back in. I make sure my clean water is @ a similar temp though. I can't imagine doing a 200g tank.

OK. Amazing is only open from 2-6pm & closed on Tuesdays. Fridays from 12 til 6 . That's why Im not finding them open.! I figured they'd have normal business hours. Will try Age of Aquariums this week. Thanks again!
