Well its a standard 40g Breeder 36x18x16 I believe.. it was used for turtles.. and then a lizard.. It does hold water and is in good condition.. their asking $20.00 for the tank and overall it looks good. My main concern is, would it be contaminated due to the lizards waste etc? and also, Im...

    GSP / Eagle eye zoas

Those frags are on 2 different rocks. If the gsp does grow crazy, Im still able to take that rock out move it and also frag it. Also fragging GSP you can pretty much just peel the mat off of the rock, saving the rock. Fun With Fragging: Green Star Polyps - YouTube

    Sump Build ?'s

The middle ball valve on the PVC that comes acrossed the sump and back into the skimmer section is just a precaution if I need to ease up some pressure in my return line caused by my MAG 7 return pump.

    Sump Build ?'s

+1 Fishyreef.. I would def. make the return section smaller its just for the return pump so just use enough space to fit that :).. and design your skimmer section to fit your protein skimmer you plan on using and use the rest of the space in the middle for the fuge. Also baffles should fit snug...

    under rated skimmer ?

If I were you I would use a skimmer.. I find it essential to all saltwater aquariums.. and do water changes once a week, instead of every night. With no sump I would opt for a Hang on the back skimmer, either an Aqua-C Remora HOB Skimmer or a reef octo bh HOB skimmer. Just my .02
