Good evening, yes the test kit is API. The salinity is 1.026 and I am not testing for ph(but I will be very soon). What brand of test kits are good? The main three are API and my alk is Salifert. I check the salinity with a refractometer and the temp is digital(from 75 to 80 degrees).

Skimmer restarted and seems to be working

I have a eshoppes 100 skimmer. My salinity was a little high and I added some ro water to lower the level. Now the skimmer over flows and the breather tube is full of water. I have unplugged and taken the skimmer apart to make sure there was nothing in the pump. How should I restart the skimmer?
