    130 Rebuild

This also might be information that is hanging around from the older, and out of production, 1-4 powerheads. Once people get an opinion and/or hear something, it is hard to change their minds. New equipment comes on the market and it gets the same reputation as the previous generation...

    130 Rebuild

Links are always welcome... I have been told to only use a Koralia wavemaker with the Koralia's. Is this true? Can I use the wave function in the ReefKeeper?

    130 Rebuild

Are you suggesting no live rock or just less? I have heard the same about the mud, but there are also others that swear by it.

    130 Rebuild

I was looking at the Koralia's. I don't have the pockets for the Mp10/40's yet. Maybe later for an upgrade. I didn't know what size to get, but those look like good ones. Thanks!

    130 Rebuild

I am open to suggestions. The tank is 6'x18"x2'. I was thinking of 4 powerheads, two on the sides and two on the back in a wave maker. The ReefKeeper has a wave function.

My new LED lights. (AKA "cheap Chinese" ones.)

These look a lot like the ones that have been recommend to me by the LFS. They have them running over a 55 bow front and they look amazing. I am looking at getting two of these for my 130. Don't know if it will be enough, but at these prices, I could pick up a third. BlueLine Products - Reef...

    New Setup

The first order of business is to fix the brace, but I am looking at getting the shopping list together. Been doing a little research and looks like replacing the bio-balls with cheato is the way to go. Also probably a sand substrate. I have old (dead) rock that was in the tank, but I am...

    New Setup

Looks like I can replace it with a simular section of glass and silicone it in with high tensile strength silicone. Anyone have suggestions on what to use that is aquarium safe?

    New Setup

I had a tank a few years ago and didn't have the money to do with it what I wanted to so I gave it to a friend. Now he is moving and couldn't take it so I have it back. It is a 130 Gal Reef tank. I want to start fresh with the setup and about the only thing that I want to re-use is the tank...
