Wow... he doesn't try to host it but likes to hover around and kind of off to the side of it. I have had more trouble out of the hermit around it than the clown.

I agree... there definitely needs to be extra support under the tank if it will be in the second story/ loft area. the only way that I can see to avoid having to put in braces and support is if it is on a load bearing wall or on load bearing supports already.. even then I would be cautious about it.

My clown likes to hang out around the anem.... but he isn't actually hosting it if that makes sense. Before I added it Tuesday not Friday (sorry) he was hanging out over on the complete opposite side of the tank. Since adding this one he now stays closer to it. Although it started moving last...

I was asking because I have used both for my land hermit crabs and they seemed to prefer the instant ocean but wasn't sure which other people preferred for their tanks.

I'm not really sure what kind of rocks they are... I got them from the intercoastal canal down around Galveston. But I wasn't aware that the artificial plants would not work for saltwater.
