1" Bulkhead...

What size drill bit for a one inch bulkhead? 45mm is what I have been told, but when I converted it from mm to inches it came out to 1.77 inches...

A 1" bulk head is bigger than 1" because the inside of it is 1" then theres the out side to count for. Here is a link to were I bought mine. It says a 1" bulkhead needs a 1 3/4 inch hole.Pentair Aquatics 1" Threaded Bulkhead at Big Al's Online
