about how many fish could i put in a 37 gallon i defenatly want some clowns but ide also like a larger fish like a center piece wht types of fish would u putin a 37

You could probably get 3-4 fish in there.For that size tank ,a centerpiece fish will probably have to be some kind of wrasse(i always liked the mystery wrasse),or maybe a dwarf angel,but Idk...What is your tanks footprint?

outside demensions of the tank are 40inches long by 12 inches wide by 20 inches tall

40 inches,thats a good length ...You could get a nice flame angel probably,and a wrasse and a pair of percs,or a royal gramma

The dwarf angel will be about the biggest fish you could have in that size tank. A flame angel would be a good pick.
