A couple of dumb questions

So i just purchased a skimmer, i also have a mechanical one which i still plan on using but without the filter portion just for waterflow and for the biowheel for now since the tank is very new. my question is, while feeding do i turn off the two and the power pump so that food doesnt get blown around or leave them on? also since im running the two filters, could i turn off the skimmer at night and just run it during the day? or would that be a problem

the only time I would turn off anything is if you are tagret feeding multiple things.... other then that leave everything on... :D
