Very nice Tanner. I would vote Black too, however it may be too much of a contrast with the orangish wall. You don't want the Halloween look. I think I would go with the same shade, but only several degrees darker. JMO

Great idea. Great frame. If it were me, I'd paint it a medium to dark brown.
